Casio G-SHOCK serie S anuncia patrocinio de la Caminata 2015 Avon 39 para poner fin al cáncer de mama

DOVER, N.J., October 2015Casio America, Inc. proudly announces its official sponsorship of AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer New York. The weekend-long event series, held on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, raises awareness and funds to fight breast cancer.

G-SHOCK is proud to partner with AVON 39, and join in the fight to end breast cancer,” said David Johnson, Vice President of Timepiece Division Casio North America. “We celebrate the toughness and resiliency of AVON 39 walkers, and appreciate the importance of breast cancer awareness and prevention.”

AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer New York begins at 6:30AM Saturday, October 17th, with an inspirational opening ceremony at Pier 84 in Manhattan. Participants will begin their challenge of 26.2 miles through New York City, making their way to Basecamp 39 at Randall’s Island, where they will spend the night before the 13-mile journey to the finish line on Sunday, October 18th.

The Casio team will be stationed along the walk route to celebrate and motivate the AVON 39 participants. Tough Toss Games will be hosted at the Casio tent, where walkers will be able to win S Series watches on the 39’s of every hour.

AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer
AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer, formerly known as the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, is a project of the Avon Foundation for Women, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Since its launch in 2003, the AVON 39 series has raised $550 million through the dedication of 207.000 participating women and men from across the country, including thousands of Avon Associates and Representatives. The Avon Foundation awards the funds raised to local, regional and national breast cancer organizations to accelerate breast cancer research; improve access to screening, diagnosis and treatment; and educate people about breast cancer.
